Facebook is it Great or is it Dangerous

Is Facebook safe to users without them fearing being bullied or is it dangerous because people are pretending to be someone else?

Case in point.  A 16 year old girl in England let go from her job after posting on Facebook that her job was boring.

Should she have been fired and did the company have a policy regarding Facebook usage?

While it might not have been the smartest of things to do, I personally don’t think it should result in immediate dismissal.

How can Facebook be used for a positive outcome. For example, Deloitte’s is paying employees for using Facebook to find new employees! They use social sites for finding new employees making them innovative.

Another thing to keep in mind is what you put on Facebook so that doesn’t come back to haunt you and not to allow it to be used to bully people.
