Jay Cutler Calm Down
Jay Cutler’s bad season just got a lot worse!
Cutler drew his fine for abusive conduct toward a game official during Chicago’s 41-21 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

The fine came one day after Cutler threw five interceptions during a 10-6 loss at San Francisco. Cutler has thrown an NFL-worst 17 interceptions this season for the Bears (4-5).
Cutler drew an unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty in the third quarter after an incomplete pass on a fourth-down play. Cutler apparently thought there should have been an interference penalty.
The NFL said that Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had been fined $20,000 for abusive conduct toward a game official during a 41-21 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Cutler was fined as a result of verbal abuse toward the back judge, which drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the Bears’ 41-21 loss to the Cardinals. The Bears (4-5) have lost four of their past five games.
Acquired in an offseason trade from Denver, Cutler leads the league in interceptions (17) after throwing five in Thursday’s 10-6 loss in San Francisco. His 76.0 quarterback rating is among the lowest in the league.
Cutler was not available for comment after Friday’s fine.
The five interceptions Thursday gave him 17 this season with 14 touchdown passes in nine games.
