Lady Gaga was to play with Michael Jackson on tour

Lada Gaga revealed yesterday on Larry King Live that she was to open for Michael Jackson during the This is It concert. She made it clear that talking about him was difficult.

Her connection to the late King of Pop did not just end with the upcoming concert appearance but she also shares medical issues that Michael Jackson had during his life. Turns out rumors about her having Lupus may be founded in some truth.

Turns out her family has Lupus in the family and she has tested positive although it does not appear to be active right now.

“I was actually asked to open for Michael on his tour,” said Lady Gaga. “Michael’s death was devastating for me, regardless of whether of not I was supposed to go on tour with him.”

She also said that while lupus is in her family and is genetic, she has been tested, but does not “show any signs, any symptoms” of the disease.
