Teen Collections

Society is now obsessed with collecting stuff and teens are no strangers to the world of collectables. For guys it can be hockey cards, football cards, action figures, movie memorabilia, pins and so on. For girls it can be trading cards as well, pins, Twilight memorabilia, movie and music stuff etc.

Collecting stuff has been going on for a long time. Most of our parents collect stuff and now it is big business. The list goes on and on regarding what we like to collect. Many of us started when we were young with items from toy stores but now it can become a serious and expensive hobby.

While travelling through Disney and other theme parks one only has to go to the store booths to see the large list of pins being collected by young and old alike.

Collecting is now a big business. Take the recent Michael Jackson sale of the single white glove for over $500,000 to demonstrate people’s willingness to spend serious money on an item of desire. Items are sold and traded on eBay, auctions, conventions, school yards, stores across the globe. It is now serious business. Authentic items go for higher and signed items are even more rare.
